Hello WORLD!

Hello World!!!
I have some really exciting things in mind for this new and reinvented version of my website.

One, it’s meant to be a “one stop shop.” You can find all my feeds here and some, like certain new videos, only here at www.shaelynnbourne.com

Two: VIDEO! I want to share with you what some of my really interesting skating and non-skating friends have to say about…well, things you would have NEVER known! ;) The first one you’ll get to see is my interview with Joannie Rochette, with whom I just finished her most recent program.

Three, since you’ve asked many times about my journey, I am working on a VIDEO PODCAST to take you down a memory lane with me. I’ve been asked to write a book on a few occasions but I thought it would be a little more fun to just tell you.

Four, though my skating I’m lucky enough to get to see the world, even many times over and time permitting, I’ll share some of my travels with you.

Five, lastly, as a woman, skater and now also a mom, I’ll share some my thoughts on everything from fashion to passion and beyond.

Welcome! Sign up under “Subscribe to Shae-Lynn’s Post” and join the adventure!!!

Congratulations on everything Shae Lynn, It looks like it’s going to be a great web site. That opening video, “You Love” is superb. Great thoughts lovely skating.
I don’t know if you remember me, but I was trying to sell a series to CBC, (13 episodes per year, one hour, family drama), and you said you were interested in playing the lead. I certainly would have been interested in producing that show, but the CBC turned it down in favour of “Heartland,” I believe. Pity. But I have other projects. I’m trying to write a book; non-fiction, and I’m teaching piano when I can find a student.
Your life is a testimony to the philosophy of “Never give up!” Know what you really want and live for it. Everything else is wasted time, but once in a while we all need a change, or a rest. I like variety and meeting good people. I am very glad to have met you. I remember being in your “Edge Workshop” at Minto in Ottawa. As beautiful, (and hot), as I knew you to be, when you stepped on the ice what impressed me was your skating! Wow! Seasonned figure skaters were trying to get out of your way because they didn’t think you could stop before running into them, but you did stop or turn, and made it look easy. Folks if you think Shae Lynn is impressive on TV or when you’re looking from rinkside, you really don’t appreciate all she can do unless you step onto the ice with her.
I really wish CBC had bought that series!!! It would have been extraordinary.
All the very best for the new year, to the whole family.
